Oxygen, heat, and light are the enemies of fresh oil. Keep your bottle in a cool place, away from the heat of your stovetop and away from direct sunlight. While our dark glass protects the oil from UV rays, tucking it away ensures the flavor stays vibrant for longer.
Unlike wine, olive oil does not improve with age. For the most vibrant flavor and highest health benefits, we recommend enjoying your Almonte within 3 to 6 months of opening, though it is perfectly delicious for much longer.
You absolutely can. High-quality EVOO has a highly stable smoke point of approximately 400°F (204°C). As much as we love our oils as a raw finish, they are also perfect for sautéing, roasting, or baking.
Because our EVOO is a fresh food product, we aren’t able to accept returns or exchanges. However, we want you to be completely happy with your oil. If you have any trouble with your order, please let us know and we will always work to make it right. You can reach us at hello@tastealmonte.com.
If you’ve already received a tracking number, the best option is to contact the carrier directly to request an address change. If you just placed your order and haven't received a tracking number yet, please let us know at hello@tastealmonte.com as soon as possible. We’ll do our best to make the update before your EVOO is on its way.
Give us 2-3 days to prepare your EVOO for its journey. Once it’s on its way, shipping usually takes 3-6 business days, depending on where you are. We do our best to get your EVOO into your hands as soon as possible.
